Supporting Job Readiness

Working with employers, our CSE team will gather specific job requirements and map those details into our student's journey to apprenticeship ensuring candidates are job ready.

"An employer's apprenticeship programs...

...must take into consideration each employer's requirements, and then setting up their unique structures, processes, and support resources required to guide a possible candidate to apprenticeship, and long-term employment."

How our CSE program supports Employers

Skills Council of Canada's CSE team we will work with employers to assemble all the materials, resources and support programs.

Requirements Gathering

We help gather details on an employer's requirements such as personality type, skills needed, working conditions, hours of operation, on the job expectations, roles and responsibilities, capabilities, trade knowledge, trade safefty, and other such details.

Content Development

We work with employers to ensure they have the right content available to support potential candidates in understanding the employer. This could include such materials as orientation, polices and procedures, what to expect the first week and more.

Matching Candidates

CSE will map a student's learning path to an employer's requirements from the details provided. This will help provide the right support, in the right areas so that potential candidates that complete our program would be more job ready specificlly for the employer's needs.

Collaborative Support Ecosystem (CSE) - Employer

This is a demo of the prototype that is currently being development to support students interested in the trades. As part of this process, we will be working with employers to incorporate their details and requirements so that we can make a better end product for them, and for our students. The goal of the CSE is to achieve job ready apprentices.
