Well-being training essentials

10 Courses in the bundle

Healthy Mind, body, spirit

Well-being, also known as wellness, prudential value or quality of life, refers to what is intrinsically valuable relative to someone. So the well-being of a person is what is ultimately good for that person and what is in the self-interest of this person. Wellness can also refer to both positive and negative well-being.

We at Skills Council of Canada, and our partners are working together to assemble wellness support resources to help those in need.

Growing our wellness collection

With well-being training, all this advice we hear over and over about eating healthily, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep gets easier.

Maintaining your well-being is crucial for living a healthy, balanced life. It’s also key to staying productive at work. The online well-being courses in this collection offer practical tips and methods so that we can actually follow these words of advice we keep hearing.

This well-being training program is for every person; from the CEO to a new hire. Prioritizing our well-being is the first step to achieving a healthy work-life balance and reaching our fullest potential, both personally and professionally.

Skills Council of Canada and its partners are working together to continue to grow the collection of wellness resources for both Indigneous and non-indigeous communities.

The Roots of Wellness

Skills Council of Canada and its partners are developing programs that can support Indigenous wellness. These programs are being developed to be offered for free. In partnership with Workforce Warriors and giudance from their Indigenous leaders, our team is currently developing materials and should be ready January 2021.

Wellness goes beyond the present day, and we must also work to support historical rooted trama.

Wellness content growing

Over 2020 and 2021 has been a challenging period for many Canadians. Skills Council of Canada and our partners have been forming new partnerships in order to add more wellness resources to our platform.

Our goal is to add more content for free, unfortunately at the moment, the content available is only part of our platform model. Take a look at our platform to learn more.

We are in the process of developing with our partners Workforce Warriors, an Indigenous Wellness program.
